2. Future Advertising Plans

To sustain ongoing development and support of NoteSnap, a future version may include optional advertising. If and when ads are introduced:

  • A consent prompt will be shown to all users before any ad data is collected
  • EU/EEA users will see a GDPR-compliant consent management UI
  • A premium (ad-free) option will be considered to give users choice
  • This disclosure page will be updated with the exact ad SDK version and configuration

3. Google AdMob Details

NoteSnap may use Google AdMob (a Google LLC service) to display advertisements. AdMob is one of the world's largest mobile ad networks and is fully integrated with Google's privacy frameworks.

These placeholder IDs will be replaced with real IDs when advertising is enabled.

Ad Formats Planned

  • Banner ads โ€” small banner at the bottom of the Home screen (between the note list and the tab bar)
  • Interstitial ads โ€” optional full-screen ads (no more than once per session)
  • No auto-playing video ads, no pop-ups that interrupt note-taking
